- Wash tuvar dal 2 times,add 2 teacups water in it and pressure Cook for 4 whistles.Take peanuts in a small steel bowl and pressure Cook in cooker along with Dal..
- To make a dough for Dhhokalis,In a mixing bowl,take Wheat flour.Add salt,Turmeric powder,red chilli powder,ajwaen,Cumin seeds and oil.Mix well.Now add water as required and knead a soft dough like that of chapati dough.Take out Boiled Dal from cooker,and blend it with hand blender.Add 2 more cups of water.Add salt, Turmeric powder,red chilli powder,slit green chillies,Coriander leaves.Let it Cook on low flame.Stirr it well.Now take a suitable portion of dough,make a ball,coat with dry flour.
- Press the ball lightly and roll into thin chapati.Cut small square pieces for Dhhokalis.Add these dhhokalis to boiling Dal.Add 1 tsp oil to avoid sticking of dhhokalis.stirr occasionally.In this way add dhhokalis of 3 chapattis.Let it Cook on low flame.Keep stirring till cooked.If require add 1 Cup water.When dhhokalis are cooked properly,add tamarind pulp and jaggery.stirr well till Jaggery melts.Temper Dal Dhhokali with 2 tsp oil,mustard seeds,Cumin seeds,hing,cloves and Cinnamon sticks..
