  1. For making dal:Rinse the dal and boil with 4-5 whistle.

Give tadka to dal by keep 1tsp oil in a kadhai add mustard seeds and Cumin seeds, asafoetida and pour boiled dal add around 1.5 to 2 glasses of water add all spices give it a nice boil and after that add the dhokli prepared with wheat dough and let them boil for around 10-15mins.Garnish with coriander leaves..
  3. For dhokli dough: take a cup of wheat flour add 1tsp oil, 1/4tsp turmeric powder, 1tsp red chilli powder, salt and make a medium soft dough by adding required water to it..
  4. Now roll the dough into thin chapati or roti and cut them in diamond shape..
  5. Serve the Dal Dhokli as a single pot meal or with thepla, roti or rice..
